Hey [FIRST NAME GOES HERE],

Earlier this week I listened in on a webinar where the presenter said (I’m paraphrasing), “you can’t build a sustainable business on low-ticket offers.”

Today I received an email from someone else who said, “low-ticket is the best way to create cash flow.”

I admire and respect both of these people, just as I admire and respect the people who have said:

• Webinars are dead/webinars still work
• Summits are overdone/summits are da bomb
• Video is the only content that matters/blogs are still relevant

And yes, that was all from this week.

Are you confused? Overwhelmed? Second-guessing every move before you even make it?

Here’s what I know to be true: Every system has the potential for success. Every business model, every marketing strategy, every product you can conceive of has potential… for someone.

The only way to know if it has potential for you and your business model is to do the thing: intentionally, consistently, and for long enough to collect data. Host the webinar, plan the summit, publish the blog, promote the offer.

Or maybe, email every day.

Then watch what happens. Is there evidence that this plan will work for you?

Notice I didn’t ask “Did it work?” because the one thing that is never true is the idea that your efforts will pay off the first time.

There is no such thing as an overnight success.

What you’re looking for are clues that you’re going the right way. That’s how you know if it’s worth continuing or not.

So when you hear conflicting advice, remember that what works for one business may not (in fact, will not) work for all of them. That’s true when you’re considering what might work, and it’s just as true when you’re hearing that some strategy that used to work is dead.

The only way to know for sure is to test it. That’s how you create your own success.
