I spotted this ad on Facebook today: What if you could get advice from the version of you who already achieved what you’re working toward?
Not from a coach. Not from a podcast or a course. But from You.
The clearest, calmest, most focused version of yourself — available on demand, every day.
That’s what The Future You AI Coach™ does.
It’s not a new piece of software you need to buy. It’s a set of prompts and workflows and works directly inside your ChatGPT.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I have more than a few friends who claim they use ChatGPT in this way. They ask questions of it, make elaborate plans, and believe that Chatty’s “advice” has some value. Here’s the problem. ChatGPT is a “yes” man. It will tell you every idea is the right move. You can test this yourself. I outlined a new “business idea” to it recently—one that was so much nonsense even the dog knew it wouldn’t fly. Chatty didn’t shoot me down. It encouraged me. Told me all the reasons it would work, and offered to create a 90-day map for me to follow. Here’s a better way to “get advice from the version of you who already achieved what you’re working toward.” Hire an actual human coach who has the business and the life you want. Someone with real experience, who won’t blindly agree with you, but who will question your assumptions and encourage you to think more deeply. Someone who will help you create a plan, and who won’t accept your excuses when you hold back and “wait for the right time,” again. I have one coaching spot remaining this quarter if you’re ready. Book a call here to see how we can work together. If coaching with me isn’t on your to-do list, that’s ok. But please don’t use ChatGPT as a business coach. It’s not qualified, and it will steer you wrong. Use your own brain instead, it’s much wiser. You should trust it. Cindy |

How to spot a shiny object Read this post online instead. Knitters might recognize these terms: Startitis (being distracted by something new before finishing the current project) UFOs (unfinished objects, particularly those that have taken a back seat due to startitis) SABLE (stash acquired beyond life expectancy, which—when mixed with a dash of startitis—leads to UFOs) You’re not out of line if you’re sensing a similarity between knitters and solopreneurs. Simplify Read this post online instead. Not long ago, while scrolling through YouTube, I came across this video about a new feature in Notion. If you don’t know, I’ve been using Notion to manage the business off and on for years, and more seriously for the past several months. I’ve been slowly moving in my SOPs, my content calendar, my notes, my CRM, and I’m happy with the system I’ve built there. But that video threw a wrench in my plans. It reminded me that most apps prioritize new...
